Originally from North Bay and now based out of Greater Sudbury (Ontario), Matt Thibeault has continued to push the boundaries of musical expression, receiving NOMFA awards for his debut album “Cycles” in 2015 as well as for the 2018 full-length album “I Own a Bittersweet Flashlight”.

Thibeault’s newest album, “Catalepsie”, is his first in the French language under his new artist name TIBO, continuing within the indie-alternative landscape; the album was released in July 2023.
